Internal Policy Management Consultant (2 positions)
The Policy Management Consultant shall assist in the management, oversight and implementation of the PPG Policy Framework and shall provide advice for PPG needs analysis and development, shall undertake a review of specific documents, supporting the coordination with content owners to ensure PPGs are adequate, up-to-date, and fully responsive to UN Women’s operating context.
National Gender Consultant to Conduct a Gender Analysis of the Vision 2025 implementation and its Evaluation Report to inform Vision 2050
Under the overall guidance of the UN Coordination Specialist, the consultant will:
- Undertake a gender analysis of Vision 2025 and its Evaluation Report (once available) to identify untapped opportunities on GEWE as an accelerator in realising the Vision attributes namely “Tanzania of 2025 should be a nation imbued with five main attributes; • High quality livelihood. • Peace, stability and unity. • Good governance, • A well-educated and learning society; and • A competitive economy capable of producing sustainable growth and shared benefits”.
- Develop a matrix identifying gender gaps with specific recommendations on how Vision 2050 could strengthen gender mainstreaming based on findings from the gender analysis.
- Prepare one policy brief summarizing the findings of the comprehensive gender analysis.
- Make a presentation/orientation of the findings and gender mainstreaming to relevant stakeholders in close collaboration with UN Women.
